1st Blogging Anniversary

It’s time for a double celebration. My blog Facebook page likes by 1000 Fans and my blog YummyIndianRecipes completed 1 year in this month. Last year 2015, I started my blog to store my recipes and inspired from other food blogger.

Yummy Indian Recipes is one year old now. In a span of this one year, I have seen lots of ups and down in my personal life and my blogging life but still I am happy with my work.

Currently juggling with my profession, home and blogging, I can able to manage my blog. No doubt, most of the time, I am busy but always took some time for my blog.

Making recipes and taking pictures are now -a- days always happened in my kitchen. My three year daughter always asking me to take photos before eating any meal. She is also inspired by my food photography 😉 , though it is not that professional way. Currently, I am using the iPhone to take pictures. I am not using any professional camera, but I would love to take pictures with a professional camera. One day I will use.

When I started my blog, I was a bit confused regarding how to tackle with technical issues and designing but few of my office colleagues helped me out in this technical issue. My office friends always motivated me to try new recipes and help me a lot. Another person is my husband. He is most critics for recipes that I have made in the kitchen and he is the sponsor of my blog and my costly hobby.

I have also started monetizing my blog slowly and steadily. I had started guest post also. Yes.. I am quite happy with the way I got responses and critics from my viewer and reader. Comment on my each blog make me happy always.

Thank you all to support me and love my recipes. This always motivates me!!!  I hope it brought you a healthy dose of pretty insight into my creative journey as a food blogger! And again, thank you so much for being here. It truly means the world to me!

thanks

Seasoned 1st Strawberry pack in my home

strawberry recipes

Strawberries

Who doesn’t like Strawberry… since strawberries are in the season and one of yummy fruit in berry family, you will get strawberry in every alternate fruit shop. Here in India, winter season is famous for Strawberry. Unfortunately, in India, we don’t get all types of berries in each and every market place but you will get those berries in big Malls and famous markets. There are various berries available such as blackberry, raseberry, blueberry, cranberry and my favorites Strawberry, Indian Gooseberry(Aamla) and many more. I have checked Global Healing Center where you will get idea how 7 berries are important in our daily nutritional diet.

Anyway, apart from its nutritional value, Strawberry has its own aromas, nice structure, colour, sweet and tangy taste that will make you crazy. It is the one fruit which can have it in any form like Strawberry Jam, juice, milkshake or cake, ice-cream and many more. Recently, I got the famous Mahableshwer (famous hill station in Maharashtra) Mapro Strawberry Crush from one of my office colleague, of course it’s not free, I paid him for that. I tried a milkshake from the crush. It came out very well, but of course, fruit is a fruit. you cannot compare strawberry and its preservative crush.

I have bought these strawberries from the shop to make Strawberry Milkshake and Homemade Jam for Prisha. She loves Jam, it can be any either Strawberry, Pineapple or mix fruit jam. Let see which recipe comes first here on Yummy Indian Recipes.

I have taken few images for simple strawberry recipes like chocolates strawberry and strawberry santa from web. Please have a look… They look so yummy and cute as well..aren’t they? Do you want to know about strawberries and other berries more? You can look at “20 Types of Berries and Their Health Benefits” written by MSc nutritionist”.
